TALKING TO THE WORLD FROM PAN AM'S CLIPPERS

This is Allan Chapman, and I welcome you to Episode 17 of my Dad’s book, Talking To The World From Pan Am’s Clippers.  Before we begin, if youhaven’t already done so, please check out a review of my Thriller, Slaves On Horseback, at:http://www.midwestbookreview.com/sbw/feb_12.htm#Mystery/Suspense, and then scroll down to the bottom of the Mystery/Suspense page.  Thanks!
Last week we saw how difficult North Atlantic crossings were which sometimes resulted in deadly crashes.  But Dad also shared his joy at the birth of my brother, Ken.  Today we’ll see how Dad and other Pan Am Crews joined the Navy, and then he shares, and then apologizes for, a chauvinist “girl watching” ritual.  Enjoy!
Thanks for signing on today!  If you haven’t already, please click on the Free Subscription icon on this page, submit your email address, and then next week’s Episode will be automatically delivered to you.  In Episode 18 Dad will share a few memories from a fellow Flight Radio Officer, George Whitaker.  Please join me, and thanks again for listening!
